About the role

Assist students, families and the school community to achieve optimal levels of wellness through health assessments, referrals, and appropriately designed and delivered health education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and screenings
• Provide health education to students and staff
• Make appropriate referrals to healthcare providers
• Collaborate with other school staff to support student health

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (currently licensed by the Kansas Board of Nursing)

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric health care
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Benefits

• District benefits available to employees hired to work 5.75+ hours/day, 5 days/week

Pay

$24.05-$34.05/hour (wage determined by years of relevant experience)
