School Lunch Monitor - [Haley Pilot] - [Anticipated Vacancy] (SY26-27)

This position is an anticipated vacancy, expected to be available by 09/08/2026. The current incumbent may rescind their retirement, leave, or resignation up until the vacancy date, so your hire will not be confirmed until the position is officially vacated. If the position does not become vacant by the start of the school year, you may begin as a Substitute Lunch Monitor.

About the Role

Reports to: Principal/Head of School

Responsibilities

• Supervision of up to 30 students
• Distribution of lunch inside the classroom
• General clean-up of the classroom after lunch
• Escorting students to recess
• Other duties as requested by the Principal

Schedule

3 hours per day, as designated by the Principal/Head of School.

Requirements

• This position is subject to the City of Boston residency requirement.
