School Food Service Workers needed in the Eatontown, NJ area.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays
- Summers off
- Part-time, 4 hours per day
- Follows the school calendar
About the role
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Food Service Worker to join our school cafeteria team in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cold food items
- Assist with traying hot food items
- Assist with serving meals on the lunch line
- Serve students in a friendly and efficient manner
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and service areas after meal periods
- Clean up after service, including washing dishes and equipment
- Receive and properly store stock and deliveries
- Perform additional duties as assigned by kitchen manager
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required
