School Custodial Supervisor

Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a dedicated Custodial Supervisor to ensure a clean and safe environment within our facilities at 500 W 41st St, New York, NY 10036.

In this role, you'll perform and lead custodial tasks, operate various industrial cleaning equipment, and manage a team of environmental services staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead custodial tasks as needed.
• Operate various industrial cleaning equipment.
• Supervise small groups of custodial staff on different shifts.
• Assume responsibility in the absence of the Account Manager.
• Assist in staff training, quality control, and in-servicing.
• Use protective gear during all cleaning tasks.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and chemical handling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Environmental Services, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to understand in-services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and work various shifts.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Must reside within the service area.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Must be flexible and available to work additional hours, weekends, and special events as operational needs require.

Pay

USD $27.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.

Offered salary rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs of the facility serviced.
