School Counselor - High School - Bonus Eligible

About the role

Primavera provides structured and personalized education to high school and middle school students in Arizona. The role involves developing and monitoring student ECAPs, reviewing and monitoring student progress, providing academic support, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor student ECAPs
• Review and monitor student progress towards graduation
• Provide students with organization, study, and testing skills
• Support and intervene for academically at-risk students
• Develop scholarship and college admissions resources for students
• Support student decision-making skills
• Participate in Student Study Teams, 504, and IEP processes
• Conduct crisis interventions involving individual students, families, and schools
• Refer students/parents to community agencies, programs, or specialists
• Develop referral resources for students, parents, and staff
• Perform other duties as required to meet the needs of students

Requirements

• A current Arizona Guidance Counselor certificate
• 3+ years of full-time experience as a K-5 Guidance Counselor
• High level of comfort with Microsoft applications and latest technologies
• Online experience preferred
• A current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Bilingual in Spanish (highly preferred)

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess a current Arizona Guidance Counselor certificate, 3+ years of full-time experience as a K-5 Guidance Counselor, and a high level of comfort with Microsoft applications and the latest technologies. Online experience is preferred, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly valued.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and proficiency in Microsoft applications and online platforms are essential.

Benefits

$55,000 annually, excluding Prop 301 funding.
