About the role
The Elementary School Counselor provides a comprehensive school counseling program that supports students' academic achievement and social-emotional development. The counselor works collaboratively with students, families, teachers, administrators, and community partners to promote student success, address barriers to learning, and foster a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment. The counselor provides individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, classroom guidance, consultation, and referral services while advocating for the academic, personal, and social well-being of all students.

- This position is split between two elementary sites: Schilling Elementary and Coyote Hills Elementary .6 FTE
- Educational Stipends: Masters stipend $2,000, Doctorate stipend $1,500, National Board Certification stipend
