About the role
This position requires traveling between Adult Education Centers. Requires some evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling services to adult students
- Assist in developing and implementing academic plans for adult students
- Collaborate with other school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to counseling services
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, education, or a related field
- Certification as a School Counselor from the Florida Department of Education
- Experience working with adult learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and strategies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information

Schedule
Varies a.m. & p.m., 7.5 hours per day, 11.5-month (235 days) calendar year contract.
