School Bus Pre-Delivery Inspector

About the role

The Pre-Delivery Inspector (PDI) position involves thoroughly inspecting new school buses before delivery to customers. The PDI will diagnose any noted failures that require repair.

Responsibilities

• Lighting systems (headlights, turn signals, reverse lights)
• Braking systems (air system is a plus)
• General maintenance (oil, coolant, power steering system)
• Steering system components
• Diagnosing knowledge and ability to read/understand wiring diagrams

Requirements

• Good with multi-tasking
• Attention to detail
• Good working attitude
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Mechanical knowledge/experience in automotive (a plus)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in automotive maintenance and diagnostics (a plus)

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
