School Bus Monitor

As a Part Time School Bus Monitor you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home. No experience as a school bus monitor is required! We provide industry-leading training and technology to help you succeed.

About the role

• A split shift: early morning before-school pickup and afternoon drop-off with a few free hours in between.
• A guaranteed shift of 4 hours per school day, with no nights or weekends unless you choose to work them.
• Additional hours available through trips and charters when offered.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $18.03 per hour, increasing to $18.57 per hour on September 1st, 2026.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• English proficiency (required for training, safety communications, and job-related documents).
• Subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee (DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason).
