School Bus Driver II (4.00 Hours/Day) - Transportation Department, Inside/Outside (Substitutes May Apply), 2026/27 SY

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• California Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License
• DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• California School Bus Special Driver’s Certificate (School Bus)
• Current American Red Cross First Aid Certificate (required when a Special Driver’s Certificate has Restriction 6)
• DMV Drivers Record dated within 30 days of the application date

If the selected candidate holds a Class B license with no restrictions, the employee will be classified and paid as a Bus Driver II.

Substitute / Outside Candidate Requirements

• Current resume
• Two (2) current letters of recommendation dated within 18 months of the application date
