School Bus Driver/Driver Trainee

About the role

Part-time school bus driver position with steady hours and competitive pay. Paid training to obtain your Commercial Driver License (CDL) and bonus incentives. Ideal for ride-share drivers, gig workers, retirees, stay-at-home parents, or college students seeking flexible, consistent work.

Schedule

• Split schedule, part-time, 20–25 hours per week
• Guaranteed at least 4 hours per day
• 9.5 months out of the year / 38 weeks (summer work available)
• Opportunities to sign up for additional hours (sports, trips, extended/summer programs)
• Free to apply for unemployment during the summer if you do not work
• Drivers may bring their children to work

Responsibilities

• Safe and reliable transportation of students to and from school
• Adherence to scheduled routes and timelines
• Maintaining a clean and well-equipped bus
• Following all company and state safety protocols

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license for at least one year
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) with company support

Qualifications

• Prior driving experience is helpful but not required
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused attitude
