Candidates who receive an offer of employment will be hired contingent upon the satisfactory completion of fingerprinting/background checks, verification of freedom from Tuberculosis, and verification of I-9 employment eligibility. This position also requires passing a pre-employment physical and drug test.
Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus safely along designated routes
- Adhere to a split-shift schedule (approximately 6 am – 9 am and 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm)
- Maintain required certifications and comply with all DMV and district regulations
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Class III California Driver’s License
- Valid California Bus Driver Certificate
- Valid medical certificate
- Clean DMV H-6 report
- Current resume and three letters of recommendation (two personal/non-relative and one from a former or current employer)
Napa Valley Unified School District is willing to train qualified candidates.
Pay
$27.62 – $30.46 per hour (starting salary, dependent on experience)
Schedule
6 hours per day / 194 days per year (split shift)
