About The Role
Are you looking for a rewarding career that makes a direct impact on your local community? School Union 76 is seeking a dependable, safety-minded School Bus Driver to join our transportation team.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport students safely to and from school on designated routes.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly environment on the bus.
- Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
- Comply with all Maine traffic laws and school district safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record with a valid Maine driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and federally mandated drug testing.
- Must obtain or hold a Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) fingerprint clearance.
- Current Maine Class B CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
