School Bus Attendant

Responsibilities

We want YOU to join our TEAM!! Multiple part-time positions available with PAID TRAINING!! Reliant Transportation is looking for School Bus Attendants to partner with our School Bus Drivers to provide a safe environment for our riders. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working with children and have strong communication skills for the Chicago public school students for the 2024 - 2025 school year.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to pass a DOT physical.
• Must be able to pass CPR course.
• Be willing and able to provide door to door service for students.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Adequate attendance record in previous work experience and able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Able to work with students of all ages with mental and physical disabilities.
• Able to work well under pressure and provide excellent customer service.
• Able to follow and provide clear, concise, and accurate directions.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $19.50/hour

• Paid Time Off: (1) hour of paid time off (PTO) for every thirty-five (35) hours worked accrual w/ 40 yearly accrual cap

• Other Compensation: $500 Driver referral bonus ($500.00 upon 90-day completion of probationary period); $1,000.00 Mechanic referral bonus ($500.00 upon training completion and $500.00 upon completion of probationary period)
