About the role
Assists in providing speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists.
Responsibilities
- Administer standardized tests to assess language skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students
- Document progress notes and report to supervising SLP
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with children with communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passionate about supporting students with special needs
