Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for a position in Belvidere, Illinois. The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), and an Illinois SLP License. The preferred candidate should also have American Heart Association BLS certification, school experience, and ASHA certification.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEPs) for students
- Review goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Establish a positive learning environment
- Provide response to intervention for the needs of each student
- May be asked to supervise assistants

Supplemental Health Care works with districts nationwide to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Belvidere, Illinois. The SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team. They will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans. The SLP will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student. They may be asked to supervise assistants.
Salary and Benefits
$52.65 - $56.70 per hour
9-week contracts
$3,000 assignment bonus available (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details)
