Supplemental Health Care is seeking a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Streamwood, Illinois.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Illinois SLP License
- American Heart Association BLS
- School Experience is preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
Responsibilities
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
- May be asked to supervise assistants
Pay
$51.20 - $55.15 per hour. 41-week contracts. $3,000 assignment bonus available (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details). Pay package is based on 6 hour shifts and 15 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. 15 hours per week, 6 hour shifts, days.
