School-Based Social Worker

About the role

As the School-Based Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing social work services, individual and group therapy, psycho-educational groups, assessments, referrals, behavioral management, support services and family casework for the students at Arbor Hill Elementary School.

Responsibilities

• Attend faculty meetings, Instructional Support Team, Family Support Team, and any other meetings deemed appropriate by the School principal;
• Provide case management services by establishing linkages and referrals for service provision within the greater health, human service and health care communities;
• Aid classroom teachers in dealing with children with specific behavioral issues;
• Plan and develop plans for group work on various topics (anger management, self-esteem, anti-violence, communication skills, conflict resolutions, etc.).

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work in related field OR LMSW/LMHC;
• 1-3 years of relevant experience;
• Valid driver’s license, proof of current car insurance and registration and access to a reliable, working vehicle.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $33.25

Maximum Salary: $33.25

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm
