School Based Registered Nurse (RN)
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to preschool-aged students during the school day.
- Assess and respond to student health concerns and minor illnesses or injuries.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
- Maintain accurate health documentation and medication records.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student health and safety.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
- Foster a caring, calm, and supportive environment for students.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Hampshire.
- One year of recent clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification (renewal classes available through Interim HealthCare).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with young children.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation.
Qualifications
