School Based Psychotherapist (Bilingual Spanish and English)

About the role

As a Psychotherapist at Esperanza Health Centers, you will contribute to the provision of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. Your role includes providing direct behavioral health clinical services to children, adolescents, adults, and families, improving psychosocial functioning, and collaborating with peers and creating systems for integrated behavioral health services.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, affirming, culturally appropriate and compassionate psychotherapy services in individual and group settings.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide diagnoses of behavioral health patients.
• Develop and modify clinic programs as needed.
• Collaborate with peers for clinical consultation.
• Assist in the detection of “at-risk” patients and develop prevention plans.
• Evaluate crisis situations and apply appropriate interventions.
• Write behavioral health support letters for patients.
• Participate in staff meetings and supervision.
• Meet productivity and Quality Improvement measures and goals.
• Attend team member trainings and performance development.
• Engage in continuing education seminars/workshops as required for re-licensure.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field (LPC, LSW).
• Current Illinois license as Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor/Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Desire to be a self-starter and take initiative.
• Experience in healthcare and/or a primary care setting preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00
