School-Based Psychologist

About the role

Responsible for providing psychological services to students in educational settings. Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with teachers and parents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Counsel students and families to address emotional and behavioral issues
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support student success
• Stay updated with research and best practices in school psychology

Requirements

• Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist in the state
• Experience working with diverse populations and in various educational settings
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using assessment tools and software

Skills

• Knowledge of child development and learning theories
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively
