Position Overview
An Occupational Therapist is needed to provide school-based services, including evaluations, assessments, and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and related service providers to support student progress and ensuring documentation compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Oregon state license in good standing
- NBCOT Certification
- Educator's License or ability to obtain one per district requirements
Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services in a school setting for students of various ages
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and implement goal-oriented interventions
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and service providers to facilitate student progress
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
