About the role
Join the team at Tykes & Teens to provide mental health services for children and their families in a School-Based Setting. Our therapists deliver psychotherapeutic interventions, assess treatment needs, develop and review treatment plans, and determine discharge criteria. The role involves completing and maintaining required intake forms, documentation, and discharge planning by specified dates, as well as tracking outcome measures for treatment effectiveness.
Tykes & Teens supports your clinical growth with over 12 hours of continuing education per year, weekly staffing, and free clinical supervision toward licensure.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapeutic interventions to children and families
- Assess treatment needs and develop treatment plans
- Review and update treatment plans as needed
- Determine discharge criteria
- Complete and maintain required intake forms and documentation
- Maintain outcome measures for treatment effectiveness
- Engage in discharge planning by specified dates
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another applicable human services degree
- Bilingual (English/Spanish/Haitian) is a plus, but not required
- Valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Licensed or must become a registered intern under Florida Statutes 490 or 491
- Two years of experience working with children and families
Qualifications (Licensed Positions)
- Active and clear State of Florida License (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT), or
- Must become a registered Intern with the state within 90 days of employment

Pay
Pay range is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
