School Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to preschool-aged students during the school day.
• Assess and respond to student health concerns and minor illnesses or injuries.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
• Maintain accurate health documentation and medication records.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student health and safety.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Foster a caring, calm, and supportive environment for students.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of New Hampshire.
• One year of recent clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification (renewal classes available through Interim HealthCare).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Caregiving, dependable, and comfortable working with young children.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
