School-Based BT/RBT - Behavior Technician | Part-Time

About the role

The Autism Clinic, a division of Hope, a nationally recognized non-profit, provides therapeutic services to children aged 2-8 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities

  • Teach children with ASD using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
  • Track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
  • Auxiliary in planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
  • Model professional appearance and attitudes.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Successful background clearance.

Qualifications

  • Possession of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field.
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in ABA techniques and principles.
