School-Based Behavioral Health Specialist

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct mental health care to students navigating emotional, behavioral, and social challenges
• Support early identification and intervention for mental health and substance use concerns
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed school environment
• Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student success

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field
• REQUIRED: Active licensure with the NH Board of Mental Health
• Current BLS Certification

Work Environment

• On-site in school settings (not remote)
• Follows the academic calendar
• Opportunity to work across multiple school locations

Schedule & Compensation

• This is a .73 FTE, salaried (exempt), benefits-eligible school-based position
• Work is performed on-site during the academic year, aligned with the school calendar
• Employees remain on payroll and receive consistent pay throughout the entire year, including school breaks and summer months
