School-Aged Babysitter

About the role

We are a busy family in Washington, DC seeking a reliable and experienced School-Aged Babysitter for our three children, ages 11, 9, and 7. This part-time, long-term position is set to start on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Bus pickup
• Helping with homework
• Driving our family van to activities
• Preparing meals
• Performing light housekeeping such as tidying, using the dishwasher, and doing laundry
• Running errands
• Assisting with keeping the household organized

Requirements

• Previous experience working with school-aged children
• Excellent English communication skills
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Confidence and comfort in driving a van

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, dependable, warm, energetic, and enjoys engaging with children.

Pay

This W-2 position offers competitive pay based on experience, with the potential for a long-term commitment of 2 to 3+ years.
