School Age Program - Sub/Traveler

About This Role

This School Age Program - Sub/Traveler opportunity at New Morning Schools, LLC serves School Age (5–12) and requires no formal credential — just relevant experience. Based in Bedford, NH, candidates bring experience in early childhood education and development.

What You'll Do

• Travel to the various locations to substitute as needed.
• Daily Activities can be planned by using the provided curriculum book and should consist of large & small group activities, child directed activities, and gross motor games.
• Helping to maintain a safe environment for children and staff
• Encouraging positive behavior guidance
• Greeting parents and children daily
• Helping to train new staff members as needed
• Attending monthly staff meetings at your program and the NMS main office
• Following the day-to-day staff assignments
• Communicating with the office when needed
• Being a substitute for staff at another location if needed

Requirements

• At least 17 years of age
• 600+ hours of experience or 3+ EDU/ECE college credits
• Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes from the Bedford area

Nice to Have

• 1-2+ years experience working with school age children
• CPR/ First aid certified - we will train if not currently certified

Pay

This School Age Program - Sub/Traveler role pays $17 to $20/Hr.

Hours at each of our locations vary, but are typically 6:45-8:45am and/or 2-6:00pm, Monday thru Friday
