School-Age Childcare Staff – Before School
About the role
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before School Program at Stafford Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt position follows the school calendar and runs from 7:00 – 8:10 am.

Position Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies
- Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities
Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day
