School-Age Childcare Staff – Before & After School
Program Locations in Las Vegas, NM: Los Niños Elementary School and Sierra Vista Elementary School.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday:
- Morning Program: 7:00 – 7:50 AM
- Afternoon Program: 3:45 – 6:00 PM
- Fridays: Hours vary between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay
- $12.00 – $16.00 per hour
- Payday: Every other Friday
Job Type: Part-time, non-exempt
About the Role
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Los Niños and Sierra Vista Elementary Schools for the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 (preferred)
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
