School Age Childcare Site Supervisor – After School

LOCATION: Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School in Fonda, NY
PAY RATE: $16.50 per hour
SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar, Afternoon Program: 2:15 - 5:30 pm
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

About the role

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before and After School Program at Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Candidates Must Meet ONE Of The Following Qualification Options

• A high school diploma or its equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
• Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.

• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
