Description LOCATION: Knowlton Township Elementary School in Delaware, NJ JOB PAY RATE: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar Morning Program7:00 - 8:40 am Afternoon Program 2:45 - 6:00 pm Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs. Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School Age Childcare Site Director for our Before and After School Programs at our Knowlton Township Elementary School in Delaware, NJ location for the 2026–2027 school year. About The Role The Site Director is the heart of a Healthy Kids Programs location. You'll lead the daily operations of the site by creating a safe, engaging program that children love and families trust. You'll support and coach your team, build strong relationships with families and school partners, and ensure the program meets Healthy Kids Programs' quality standards and all licensing requirements. What Success Looks Like Program Quality: Kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day; the program reflects Healthy Kids Programs’ model and families consistently choose to re-enrollStaffing: The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kidsCompliance: The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given dayInventory: The site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need; nothing runs out mid-week; restocking happens before it becomes a problem Requirements QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or early childhood coursework preferred1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program settingSome experience in a lead or supervisory role preferredFamiliarity with before- and after-school program environments a plusKnowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not requiredCalm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.
