Description LOCATION: Haldane Elementary School in Coldspring, NY JOB PAY RATE: $17.00 per hour SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar Afternoon Program: 2:50 - 6:00 pm JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt Do you love working with kids? Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for our After School Program at our Haldane Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. About The Role The Site Director is the heart of a Healthy Kids Programs location. You'll lead the daily operations of the site by creating a safe, engaging program that children love and family's trust. You'll support and coach your team, build strong relationships with families and school partners, and ensure the program meets Healthy Kids Programs' quality standards and all licensing requirements. What Success Looks Like Program Quality: Kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day; the program reflects Healthy Kids Programs’ model and families consistently choose to re-enrollStaffing: The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kidsCompliance: The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given dayInventory: The site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need; nothing runs out mid-week; restocking happens before it becomes a problem Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Candidates May Qualify With Any Of The Following Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience. Qualifications Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
