Description Program Opportunities: Bethel Elementary School in Bethel, PAPenn-Bernville Elementary School in Bernville, PA PAY: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar Morning Program: 7:00 AM - 8:35 AM Afternoon Program: 3:20 PM-6:30 PM Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs. Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant Site Director for our Before and After School Program at Bethel Elementary School and Penn-Bernville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. Key Responsibilities Regulatory & Licensing Leadership Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulationsMaintain child and staff files, attendance records, and required documentation onsiteKeep the program organized and audit-ready Program & Staff Leadership Lead engaging activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support)Actively supervise children and staff, including playground oversightMaintain safe staff-to-child ratios and strong behavior management Operations & Communication Oversee daily attendance, registration, and schedulingServe as liaison between families, school administration, and the Healthy Kids main officeCommunicate clearly and professionally using the Playground App Who Thrives in This Role? Experienced childcare professionals ready to leadEducation majors and future teachersParents seeking school-aligned hoursRetirees with childcare or education experience Requirements Education and Experience: Candidates May Qualify With Any Of The Following Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 1 year of experience working with children under 13.Bachelor's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13.Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 3 years of experience working with children under 13.Associate's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 4 years of experience working with children under 13. Qualifications Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checksMust be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB.Strong leadership and communication skillsPhysically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
