Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School Age Childcare Assistant for their Before and After School Programs at Knowlton Township Elementary School in Delaware, NJ for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Responsibilities
- Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion
- Providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program
- Observing state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies
- Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing
Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required
Qualifications
- Successfully passes all required state background checks
- Able to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds, and actively engaging with energetic children
- Demonstrates a positive, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and colleagues, along with a consistent record of reliability and punctuality
