Follows the school calendar
- Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:30 am
- Afternoon Program: 2:45 - 5:45 pm
Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.
About the Role
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Mark Newbie Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required
- Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks.
- Requires the ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds, and actively engaging with energetic children.
