School Age Assistant Group Leader

About the role

The Assistant Group Leader will assist in supervising the program and ensuring a safe, healthy, and constructive environment for all children involved in the program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the program
• Create and sustain a culture of excellence
• Work as part of a cohesive team
• Lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary
• Sometimes work early morning, late nights and weekends
• Show and encourage the character traits of caring, responsibility, honesty and respect

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years of age
• A High School diploma or equivalent
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required
• Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months
• Negative Mantoux TB test and immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 75lbs on occasion and 40lbs frequently (children) and move intermittently during work hours
• Strong oral communication skills required for occasional public speaking responsibilities
