Scheduling Manager - Lafayette, IN
Cornerstone Caregiving is a non-medical, in-home care company primarily serving seniors. With over 450 offices in just 6 years, we aim to provide the highest quality of care for our clients across 43 different states (and counting).
About the role
As a Scheduling Manager, you will work directly with the Recruiting Manager and both roles will report to and assist the Operating Director. The primary focus will be to provide scheduling, administrative, and operating support for the office. You will also share on-call responsibilities with the other managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage caregivers, including hiring and terminating as needed.
- Manage client and caregiver schedules via company software, AxisCare.
- Provide general operational and administrative support to the Operating Director.
- Support the Operating Director with conducting intakes and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ensure high-quality client service from phone calls to in-home consultations to maximize client retention.
- Adhere to Cornerstone Caregiving's operating standards and state-specific compliance requirements.
- Periodically manage after-hours calls from clients, caregivers, and referral sources, addressing urgent schedule changes.
- Conduct in-home assessments as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent degree.
- Associates and/or Bachelor Degree; may substitute degree requirement with a combination of education/experience and a minimum of two years' experience as an Administrator and/or managing sales, customer service, and human resources functions within an office setting.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid state-required proof of auto insurance.
- Reliable transportation to meet the needs of the position and scope of job responsibilities.
- Limited travel as needed for sales, marketing, and client care service needs.

- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with technology.
- Experience with oversight of frontline employees.
- Experience with shift planning and employee scheduling.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Meet, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
