Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, monitor, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Track project progress, identify schedule variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify activities that may impact key project milestones.
- Conduct schedule risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential delays.
- Prepare recovery schedules and support project teams in resolving schedule issues.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, utility providers, and other stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment.
- Support change management and assess the schedule impact of project changes.
- Perform delay analysis and evaluate schedule evolution from design through project closeout.
- Review contractor schedules and provide feedback regarding schedule compliance and integrity.
- Prepare schedule reports, performance updates, and presentations for project leadership.
- Ensure schedules comply with applicable project requirements, contractual obligations, and federal grant standards.
- Maintain accurate schedule documentation and support project forecasting and milestone tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project scheduling or schedule management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
- Experience managing integrated schedules for large-scale construction, transportation, infrastructure, or rail projects.
- Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, schedule risk assessment, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
- Experience coordinating schedules across multiple contractors, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with project management and scheduling systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Amtrak or major rail infrastructure projects.
- Experience reviewing contractor schedules and schedule submissions.
- Knowledge of federal grant requirements and standards.
- Experience with large-scale transportation or tunnel replacement programs.
- Knowledge of schedule controls, change management, and project performance reporting.
