Job Overview

Join TriHealth’s Orthopedic & Spine team as a Medical Assistant, supporting a variety of orthopedic specialties and providing hands-on, patient-centered care.

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedules participants for specialist and routine appointments both internally and externally with many different providers and areas of specialty.
  • Coordinates scheduling of participants within multiple departments internally including nursing, transportation and therapy at three different sites.
  • Communicates appropriately with customers, transportation and other departments.
  • Ensures all medical records are retrieved from outside providers and forwarded to the medical records department for scanning purposes.
  • Maintains the safety and cleanliness of the treatment area.
  • Assists in performing medical procedures on adults and children.
  • Works cooperatively within the team concept, demonstrating flexibility, motivation, and commitment to quality patient care.

Job Requirements

  • High School Degree in Healthcare Clerical background with general computer skills and knowledge in medical terminology.
  • EKG, Injections, Venipuncture, Performance of common lab tests according to established CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy.
  • Experience in medical/physician office setting.

Location: Mason and Kenwood
Work Schedule: Full-Time (80 hours bi-weekly)
