Scheduler/Receptionist
Job Overview
The receptionist/scheduler is responsible for answering the telephone, checking patient’s prescriptions upon arrival and enters patient demographics in RIS. Scheduling patients in collaboration with the Central Scheduling team utilizing Breast Center guidelines. Calls patient to remind them of their appointments and checking to be sure appointments are scheduled correctly. Greets patients upon arrival and gives clear directions in preparation for registration. Verify correct physicians are in system to receive results. Staff cross cover for Film Library and Coordinator roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Office, general clerical experience
Scheduling Requirements
- Per Diem - Day
- Hours vary - Monday-Tuesday 7-6:30pm Wed-Friday 7-4:30pm and Saturday 8-11:30am
