About the role
We are seeking a Scheduler for the Operating Room to coordinate surgical schedules, input case details, and ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Interact professionally with physician offices
- Manage schedule changes and link preference cards
- Verify inpatient cases
- Coordinate anesthesia, radiology, and equipment needs
- Communicate schedule updates to relevant departments
- Perform accurate data entry
- Solve problems and foster positive relationships
- Ensure proper staffing and equipment availability
Requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with surgical procedures
- Computer skills
- Prior experience in medical or OR scheduling preferred
