Scheduler - Corporate Call Center

About the role

Provides high quality scheduling experience for the patients of Penn State Health. Deploys excellent customer service engagement skills by phone. Schedules accurately for all specialty area supported in Phone Access Group against scheduling guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for appointments across various specialties.
• Engages in excellent customer service via phone.
• Adheres to scheduling guidelines and policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior call center, healthcare IT, or healthcare operational experience preferred.
• Prior ambulatory practice site experience preferred.
• Strong customer service background preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Proficiency in scheduling software.

Pay

Eligibility for shift differential pay based on the terms outlined in company policy or union contract.

Monday - Friday 8:00a-4:30p
