The hotel features 247 rooms and the largest luxury meeting space in Northern Virginia, totaling 35,000 sq ft, including two ballrooms with 20-foot ceilings and abundant natural light.

The JW Marriott Reston Station is conveniently located along the Silver Line Metro, between Dulles International and Reagan National airports, providing exceptional access to the capital region and beyond.

A vibrant lounge offering bold cocktails, curated Amaro selections, and shareable plates. Whether winding down or kicking things off, it's where flavor meets finesse in every pour and plate.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis, including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily function projections.
• Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents drink orders, mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes while practicing prudent portion control.
• Abides by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale, creates checks for guests (including those served by other beverage servers), and maintains accountability of all beverages served.
• Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed to balance all money.
• Locks up and stores all beverage, food, and other equipment items; deposits cash drops and secures the bank.
• Complies with attendance rules and is available to work on a regular basis.
• Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to meet appearance standards.
• Strong guest communication skills.
• Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room continuously throughout the shift.
• Willingness to assist coworkers with job duties and work as a team player.
