About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist with the fabrication, installation, strike, and maintenance/repair of props, set pieces, and décor.
- Assist with décor elements such as garland, Christmas trees, and wreaths, including testing lights and attaching ornaments, ribbon, sprays, and other decorative items.
- Assist with material inventory processes.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and vehicles.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, vendors, and guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow a pattern and replicate a décor template.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work with hands for extended periods of time.
- Must be comfortable working at heights, including ladder work to decorate tall scenery pieces such as Christmas trees.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder and work at heights between 6 and 65 feet.
- Comfortable working in theater and outdoor environments, including dark/nighttime conditions, in/around water, and in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable working around animals.
- Comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations.
- Ability to train on and properly use protective gear.
- Ability to stand, bend, or kneel for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and turn with complete flexibility.
- Engage in extensive walking and standing throughout the entire work shift, including climbing/ascending heights as needed.
- Perform physical activities such as kneeling, squatting, bending (floor-to-waist/waist-to-overhead), reaching overhead, simple grasp, and fine hand manipulation tasks (e.g., use of tools, keyboard, writing).
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather, including extreme heat.
- May be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes.
- Perform cleaning duties, including the use of cleaning chemicals.
Schedule
- Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business needs, including opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be flexible in work locations, as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities.
