Scenic and Decor Supervisor- Entertainment

About the role

The Scenic and Décor Supervisor is responsible for driving and managing the creation and installation of parkwide décor, props, live show scenery, and seasonal amusement offerings such as haunted houses and interactive guest experiences in concert with Creative Services. This is a leadership role that reports to the Entertainment Manager and oversees the Scenic Leads.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master project schedule for scenic and décor park elements.
• Provide two-week progress projections and ensure team meets task milestones and deadlines.
• Implement and maintain asset inventory system.
• Work with Entertainment Manager to review creative design submissions and approve or edit based on resources, budget, and timeline.
• Identify, analyze, and manage potential and actual risks; take corrective action or escalate serious issues impacting scope, schedule, quality, or cost.
• Interface and manage internal and external resources from design through production and installation.
• Develop scopes of work, manage sourcing, interviewing, staffing, and implementation to support project efforts.
• Negotiate with and procure outside resources, ensuring they remain on budget and on schedule.
