Scaffolder - Hinkley Point B
About The Role
Scaffolders – Altrad are currently seeking an experienced Scaffolders to join the team at Hinkley Point B Power Station. The work pattern is Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. BPSS clearance is required for 13th July start. This is a fixed-term position ending around 28th August. Pay rate: £22.50.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policy
- Use and maintain correct tools, plant, and equipment safely
- Report defects in plant, equipment, protective clothing, or safety gear to supervision
- Work safely at all times, avoiding unnecessary risks
- Keep working areas and welfare facilities clean and safe
- Report accidents or incidents immediately to supervisor or site manager
- Follow work instructions on the work order card
- Participate in pre-job risk assessments
- Complete necessary paperwork as requested
- Liaise with Site Supervisor/Manager daily and inform them of issues
- Adhere to SG4 requirements
- Read and erect scaffolds according to drawings and specifications
- Erect, dismantle, and perform tasks such as tower scaffolds, independent scaffolds, birdcage scaffolds, slung scaffolds, cantilever scaffolds, truss out scaffolds, proprietary scaffold systems, temporary suspended scaffolds, and access equipment
- Comply with technical manuals and relevant standards
- Give clear safety instructions and ensure they are followed
