Scaffold Foreman - Phoenix, AZ

Job Description Summary

Important: Sunbelt Rentals is seeking local Phoenix, AZ area candidates for this role. We are currently unable to offer relocation assistance or travel/per-diem for this position. Candidates must currently reside within a commutable distance of Phoenix, 85007.

Responsibilities

• Design various types of scaffolds and order materials as required to maintain work flow.
• Perform all necessary documentations i.e. delivery/pick up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA’s and scaffold inspection checklists, etc.
• Foreman 1 must act as a mentor and coach to the Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their development and will report to the Foreman 2.
• Foreman 1 is required to work with tools from time in addition to supervising a screw.

Requirements

• Must live in the Phoenix, AZ area.
• Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience.
• Some trade school preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely and effectively supervise a crew or supervise and direct up to (3) Lead Carpenters, who each run a small crew, to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding under the supervision of the E&D Foreman 2 or E&D Supervisor.
• Good knowledge of the OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the various types of scaffolding material being used so that the intended loads of the scaffolding are not exceeded.

Skills & Abilities

Pay

Base Pay Range: $21.38 - 26.72
Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
