Responsibilities
- Work at heights with no fear.
- Transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect the scaffold as instructed by the scaffold builder.
- Hoist scaffolding materials upward in order to erect temporary structure.
- Properly secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
- Properly secure scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
- Adhere to all OSHA, site specific and Austin Industrial requirements for the erecting and navigation of the scaffolding.
- Pass materials and tools to Journeyman as needed.
- Dismantle scaffolding when it has been properly communicated to do so.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States (Austin is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position).
- Valid TWIC Card and Driver’s License.
Qualifications
- No minimum education requirements.
- 6+ months experience in an Industrial setting preferred.

- Work may be performed in industrial and construction environments with exposure to weather conditions, temperature extremes, noise, dust, fumes, moving equipment, vibration, and other site-specific hazards.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and meet all customer, site, regulatory, medical, and fitness-for-duty requirements.
- Ability to perform all job duties while maintaining a constant commitment to safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
