SCA-ELECTRONICS TECH III

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an individual to join the Electronics Security Systems (ESS) team as an on-site Installation Tech. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the overall success of each Security System conversion and integration from design to close out.

Job Duties

• Obtain and maintain system certifications (Identiv, Bosch, Commend, Aiphone, Allied Telesis, Cisco, etc.)
• Install CCV, IDS, Access Control, and Intercom Systems
• Troubleshoot systems on site with Programmers and remote support from leadership
• Manage conversion of equipment during and after installation
• Assist in documentation of all project requirements related to barcoding, redlining project plans, etc.

Qualifications

• All ESS site personnel are required to have knowledge in CCTV, IDS, Access Control, and Intercom Systems.
• The ability to maintain a Secret clearance throughout the life of the project and report any changes to their eligibility status immediately.
• The successful applicant must have a high school diploma and 5+ years of experience in this field.
• Must demonstrate ability to apply technical knowledge of ESS principles to determine equipment malfunctions, as well as skills in restoring equipment operation.
• Additional qualities such as ability to recommend changes to installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance a plus.
• The applicant must also have a general understanding of applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company directives related to building operations and work safety.

Environment

The projects are all executed in a Federal Environment. As a Government Contractor, you will be required to pass an extensive background check prior to employment.
